For the first official Harley-Davidson® On The Road Report with Beth Brinker, it’s fitting that we hit the road and headed south to see Mr. Harley himself, Randy Houser.
I headed to Oxford, Mississippi with two fabulous ladies: Miss Amanda Craig, stylist to the stars, and Natalie Moore, Director of Artist Development and Creative Services at Show Dog – Universal Music. Natalie brought the awesome iPod playlist and Amanda brought the Girl Scout Cookies, so we were ready to rock.
We arrived, hit the downtown square for some BBQ at The Rib Cage before we headed over the The Lyric Theatre to hang with Randy before the show. We sat down with Cadillac to talk Throwdown, Willie Nelson, motorcycles and his master plan to “not go to jail.”
On a sad note, Randy, his band and his crew lost their music gear, clothing and personal belongings in a bus fire on Wednesday afternoon (March 9), in Isle of the Palms, S.C. where they were performing later that night. No one was injured. Randy sent word to his manager that read, "Fire is out. Lost all my clothes. I'm pretty sad, but so thankful we all got off safely. That fire burned all through our home on wheels." See Randy's video of the fire here!
Not to worry, the show went on. If you want to be 'Whistlin' Dixie' with Randy Houser this summer, get your tickets NOW!
